Our Lady and Sheen

Lourdes, day 2 part 2

During the Marian procession tonight I ran to the first English banner I could find. I met a family and the son, about 12 immidiately said, “you miss hearing English don’t you?”. It turned out that there were only those three and the banner holder. The banner said, “say a prayer, save a life” and had a rosary shaped like a baby in the womb.

The man, Mike, is a Canadian and runs a pro life center in Lourdes. After talking during the procession he let me carry the banner, including to the front of the basilica where I held it for the rest of the prayers facing the throngs of people. Tonight’s procession was much, much larger than last night’s!
