Our Lady and Sheen

A little thought on the Curé

As I was sitting in the Chapel of the Heart (of the Curé), I noticed it wasn’t there.  It turns out it is in Belgium this week.  As I continued praying, I was reminded that the first time I really understood what a relic was, was when the heart came to Long Island for a visit a few years ago.  I kept thinking that “Curé” refered to the heart, and that they were calling the Holy Saint the “Heart of Ars.”  I look back at a few memories of my life and think, “How could I be so stupid,” but then I realise that it allows me to realise how much I’ve grown, and how much I’ve changed.  I can regret past decisions, thoughts, and actions, and still give praise to God for allowing me to go through those.
